ПВНЗ «Європейський університет» став повноправним індивідуальним членом Європейської асоціації університетів (European University Association, EUA). Рішення Рада Асоціації ухвалила 30 жовтня 2026 року. Приєднання до найбільшого об’єднання європейських університетів знаменує важливий етап міжнародного розвитку закладу та зміцнення його академічної репутації.
Офіційне підтвердження членства надійшло в листі генеральної секретарки EUA Аманди Кроуфут від 3 листопада 2026 року, адресованому президенту, ректору Європейського університету Олені Тимошенко. Від імені Правління та Секретаріату Асоціації вона привітала колектив університету й висловила зацікавленість у розвитку партнерства та реалізації спільних ініціатив.
Для Європейського університету вступ до EUA - це вагомий крок у посиленні міжнародної присутності та розбудові академічної репутації. Повноправне членство створює додаткові можливості представляти освітній і науковий потенціал закладу, налагоджувати професійні зв’язки та долучатися до діалогу про майбутнє вищої освіти Європи.
EUA об’єднує понад 900 членів та афілійованих організацій і представляє університети та національні конференції ректорів у 48 європейських країнах. Зокрема, Україну в Асоціації представляє 51 заклад вищої освіти, включно з Європейським університетом, із яких 47 мають статус повноправного індивідуального члена. Приєднання до цієї спільноти відкриває Університету додаткові можливості для зміцнення академічної репутації та розвитку міжнародного партнерства. Асоціація забезпечує простір для обміну досвідом, участі в загальноєвропейських дослідженнях, професійних заходах і формуванні рішень, важливих для розвитку університетського сектору.
Приєднання до цієї спільноти відкриває для Європейського університету нові перспективи розвитку академічних партнерств, поширення власних напрацювань та опанування передових університетських практик. Саме така взаємодія створює основу для довгострокового зміцнення академічної репутації – через професійну довіру, обмін знаннями та спільну роботу над освітніми й науковими завданнями.
В умовах викликів, які долає Україна, ця подія набуває особливого значення: Університет розширює свою присутність у європейській академічній спільноті та можливості представляти в ній національну освіту й науку.
Європейський університет утверджує свій міжнародний статус і розширює простір для співпраці, у якій академічна репутація, якість освіти та науковий розвиток стають основою спільного європейського майбутнього.

A new level of international recognition: European University becomes a full member of the EUA
Private Higher Education Institution ‘European University’ has become a full individual member of the European University Association (EUA). The decision was adopted by the Association’s Council on 30 October 2026. Joining the largest association of European universities marks an important stage in the institution’s international development and the strengthening of its academic reputation.
Official confirmation of membership was received in a letter from the EUA’s Secretary General, Amanda Crowfoot, dated 3 November 2026, addressed to the President and Rector of European University, Olena Tymoshenko. On behalf of the Association’s Board and Secretariat, she congratulated the university staff and expressed interest in developing partnerships and implementing joint initiatives.
For European University, joining the EUA represents a significant step towards strengthening its international presence and building its academic reputation. Full membership creates additional opportunities to showcase the institution’s educational and research potential, forge professional links and engage in dialogue on the future of higher education in Europe.
The EUA brings together over 900 members and affiliated organisations and represents universities and national rectors’ conferences in 48 European countries. It is precisely this kind of interaction that lays the foundation for the long-term strengthening of academic reputation – through professional trust, the exchange of knowledge and joint work on educational and research tasks.
Given the challenges Ukraine is currently facing, this development takes on particular significance: the University is expanding its presence within the European academic community and its opportunities to represent national education and research within it.
European University is consolidating its international status and broadening the scope for cooperation, in which academic reputation, the quality of education and scientific development form the foundation of a shared European future.
